'I spent about 16 to 18 hours a day practising my art'

How come you're not in the book?

For the simple reason that I never wanted to be in any record book.

But why not?

Because I wanted to change the idea of magic. I am not happy with the conventional pattern of magic. I am also against the flashy image of magicians.

I wanted to go deeper into it -- I wanted to learn the human psychology. I wanted to give a different angle to it.

Like what?

You name it, I have done it. I have done a course on psychology, dealt with computers and electronics, was also into memory enhancement and marketing. I even worked at a call centre.

Then what did you do?

After doing all of these different kinds of jobs for four years I thought I understood human psychology. That's when I started training myself as an magician under my father. Most of the things I did on my own. I spent about 16 to 18 hours a day practising my art.

When I was ready there were many channels in India nad International who wanted to sign me up. But I thought of working with Bindass because of Zarina Mehta's passion for her work.
