Kamal, Jackie bring the house down
Kamal Haasan started his speech in Tamil for the benefit of his fans, and later shifted to English.
"I always touched the feet of Sivaji Ganesan and now that he is not with us, I could only think of you, Amitji," Kamal said, to Bachchan. "You are the only other lion in the country with whom I can share my work and happiness. I look up to you."
He told Mammootty that he cries every time he watches his Thaniyavarthanam.
