Baghban largely belonged to Amitabh Bachchan and a stunning-looking Hema Malini. Paresh Rawal had but a small role in it.

Yet, he provided strong support to the lead characters. He provided a few laughs and even more tears in this story about an old couple being abandoned by their grown-up children.
