I am a reluctant writer even now and prefer scripts written by the specialist writers. I prefer my film to do well rather than getting the credits for the various aspects of filmmaking.

During Rasathanthram, I decided to go my own way after all the regular writers were busy with their own projects. I called each one of them while writing the script, but they were unavailable.

Have you started thinking about stories for your forthcoming projects?

I usually think about my next film only after completing the current one. I will be doing a film with Mohanlal for Ashirwad films and another one for Grihalakshmi Productions. Once I am back home with my family, I will start thinking about new themes.
