2007 has been a middling year for Bollywood, and we've had more bad films than the other kind.
Anyway, as we look forward to 2008, here are some things that we really wouldn't like to see anymore.
More Amitabh Bachchan films slaughtered
As if Don wasn't enough, we went ahead and made a B-movie out of Sholay. For Gabbar's sake, is nothing sacred anymore? Despite disaster, filmmakers are still considering remaking films like Amar Akbar Anthony.
Our sincere advice to producers: let it B.
There's only one Bachchan and nobody can fill those particular nau-number-ke-joote. So while you might love the idea of Hrithik Roshan in a Shahenshah remake, Akshay Kumar in a Great Gambler remake or Himesh Reshammiya in a Khuda Gawah remake, cease and desist. We'll all be eternally grateful if you left Bachchan's movies alone.
