Madhuri's many moods

For this picture we gave her a very simple hairstyle, bluish contact lens and very mute lipstick and matching accessories. I wanted her to show grief and pain. I wanted a sentimental picture.

I asked her not to smile. She told me she only knew to smile!

I asked her to remember any sad moment in her life -- any incident that would make her feel gloomy. She said she didn't have any sadness in her life and that's the reason she smiled all the time!

But I wanted that Mona Lisa look. I asked her to remember some sad scene from a movie but then I thought that would make it look very filmy. I wanted a natural touch to it. We wasted almost a day but still couldn't get what I wanted.

So, I told her that we should pack up as her smile was coming in the way and just two frames were remaining. When she heard that, she felt sad. That's when I got my shot!
