The funniest stuff on Indian TV!

Shararat

Channel: Star Plus
Time: Fridays, 8 pm

Running successfully for the last few years, Shararat is like steady-dividend-yielding stock for Star Plus. The story revolves around Jeeya, great great great granddaughter to Rani Devi (who was granted magical powers by a sage, that would be handed down to each daughter in generations to come).

As a result, after she turns 18, Jeeya possesses the same supernatural powers. She stays with her family -- father Suraj Malhotra, mother Radha, brother Jai and grandmother Nani.

Good performances by Shruthi Sheth and Farida Jalal, coupled with the show's feel-good factor, make it different and popular.
