Sakshi Shivanand: Rising Star Down South

Most of the roles you have done in Kannada films are glamourous. Is Soundarya different, as it is directed by the award winning director Channagangappa?

I would like to differ from you. I have acted in a variety of roles in Kannada films, though they are small in number compared to my Telugu films. Though I started off with a bubbly role in Galate Aliyandiru, my films like Sainika, Naanu Naane and Tandege Thakka Maga were noteworthy.

My performance in these films has also been appreciated.

Yes, my role in Soundarya is still better in the sense that I am acting as a crusader who takes on the Mafia. It is a good role where I got a lot of scope to perform.
