Music director Himesh Reshmaiya (Tere Naam, Silsiilay) was very confident about the soundtrack. He would stop composing music if the score of 36, China Town did not become a hit, he declared.
His last work for Ghai was Aitraaz, which fared quite well.
Ghai's last directorial venture Kisna may have failed, but the Showman is undeterred. "I am planning to launch a film in January 2006 as we hope to complete 36, China Town by that time," was his parting shot.
