The two women in Ghai's life!

Antonio Bernath and Isha Sharvani

Do these two young ladies look familiar?

No? Well, on the left is Antonio Bernath and to her right is Isha Shravani.

Who are they? Actresses, but of course.

But what you really ought to ask is: what do they have in common?

Both girls will debut in filmmaker Subhash Ghai's period drama, Kisna: A Soldier Of Humanity opposite Vivek Oberoi.

Bernath, who is of British origin, was studying drama at Bristol's Old Vic Theatre School (which, as an aside, was founded by legendary actor Sir Laurence Olivier in 1946). She opted out of drama school when her agent asked her to audition for 'a big Indian filmmaker'.

That big Indian filmmaker was Subhash Ghai.

Well-known dancer Daksha Sheth's daughter Isha Shravani left the confines of her mother's dance ashram in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to join Ghai's unit.

Although Ghai is tight-lipped about Kisna's storyline, the $6 million (approximately Rs 273 million) has been extensively shot in North India.
