It will be the second time that Bachchan is shooting a film in the desert town after Reshma Aur Shera, which he worked on in the early part of his career. He had visited Jaisalmer last year to celebrate his birthday (October 11), and watch the shooting of his son Abhishek's film, Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost.

Official sources said the district administration would extend every help to the film unit. "The unit needs about 1,200 spectators in traditional Rajasthani dresses in the stadium for the match. We are confident that Bachchan's popularity will make our task of attracting people into the stadium easy," assured Assistant Director of Tourism Upendra Singh Shekhawat.
