Actors from different schools of thought, Kareena Kapoor and Rahul Bose team up together for the first time in Chameli.

Kareena plays a streetwalker, while Rahul plays an investment banker. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, the film revolves around their interaction in one single night. The film was the brainchild of director Anant Balani (Joggers' Park, Mumbai Matinee), who died an untimely death, barely three days after the film went on the floors.

The film is slated for a January 2004 release.
