I am a girl from Chandigarh and the girlfriend of Captain Vikram Batra (Abhishek Bachchan). Army men’s girlfriends or wives never know whether their loved ones will ever come back.

I met Captain Batra’s twin brother Vishal and the incident quite moved me.

JP Dutta recorded the conversation he had with Captain Batra’s girlfriend and he played it for me. It was very touching. It was very difficult for me to do her role.

I learnt that army men they are very brave and their love for the country is unconditional. The music is mind blowing. All the songs are very moving and touched me when we were shooting the film. I did this film only because of JP Dutta.
