LoC-Kargil is an outcome of filmmaker J P Dutta’s extensive research. Dutta made innumerable notes on war details, interacted with the families of several martyrs and kept the army in the loop for his film.

The war drama was filmed amidst tough shooting conditions in Ladakh. "When we shot the film, only 60 per cent oxygen was available, as we were 14,000 feet above sea level,” recalls Manoj Bajpai.
