Bharat (Bob Galy, in Boys)

Bharat, 19, learnt Western dancing at 12, and has been performing on stage for a group called Swingers since 14. One of Shankar's assistants chose to shoot a stage show at which Bharat was one of the dancers.

"I was confident of being noticed. And Shankar Sir called me for a test after watching the video his assistants had shot. I told him my speciality was dancing. Even if I were at the back among a group of ten people, I would be noticed. I think he liked my confident reply."

Bharat was to play the role of Munna, the hero of Boys, until the team spotted Siddharth and Genelia. He says, "Bob is a fun loving guy. He loves fashion, music and dancing. He is a freaky character. I am like that in real life also. I colour my hair. I wear earrings and bangles. I love style. It was not much difficult for me to portray such a character. I model myself on John Travolta."

"My favourite song is Saregame and Girlfriend. I am happy I was given a few solo shots in both songs."

"We were like a bunch of pranksters for nearly one-and-a-half years. It was like a picnic. When the shooting was over, we all got very sentimental. We knew we would not get a chance like this again," he adds.
