Satish Kaushik (director of Tusshar Kapoor's launch vehicle Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai) and Anil Kapoor go back a long way. In the 1984 blockbuster Mr India, Kaushik played the lovable Calendar alongside Kapoor.

Their association flourished over the years with films such as Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain which had Kaushik wield the directorial baton. They now come together as producers for Badhaai Ho Badhaai.

Actress-turned-writer Kavita Chaudhry is well known for her performance as the lady inspector in the television serial Uddan. She has also launched her own serial Your Honour, for Sony Television.
