Sarika falls from terrace of her
house, hurt on the back

Sarika sustained injuries on the back and was shifted to Bombay where she underwent an operation at Leelavati hospital, they said.

"The operation went off very well and Sarika is in fine condition," the family members said.

Sarika, who was flown to Bombay from Madras, was admitted to the hospital immediately after her arrival on Tuesday night. She was accompanied by her husband and their two daughters.

"Today's surgery was phase one of the operation and another minor one was likely to be performed on her shortly," the sources said.
