Hrithik exchanges rings with Suzanne

Sita Menon in Bangalore

They could have danced all night.

Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan exchanged rings on Tuesday night at the latter's father, Sanjay Khan's Golden Palms Resort

Dressed in a grey suit, a light blue coloured shirt and a grey tie, Hrithik was a perfect foil to Suzanne Khan's delicate beauty, in a skin coloured ghagra-choli, speckled with diamonds.

Music was the mainstay of the evening. Hrithik pulled his bride to the centre of the hall, to dance to Ek pal ka jeena and the title track of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. There was something magical between the two -- so completely involved in each other, yet so spiritedly dancing to the songs that bought Hrithik so much fame – that there was not a dry eye left in the room after the song.

Singer Sukhbir was the deejay for the evening, keeping everyone on their toes, including Pinky Roshan, a superb dancer in her own right, Rakesh Roshan, Sanjay Khan, Feroz Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Pran, Prem Chopra, Jeetendra (sporting white chappals), and Fardeen Khan (also in a grey suit), Congress politician Ghulam Nabi Azad among others.

The highlight of the evening was Dimple Kapadia, looking as ravishingly beautiful as ever, dancing wholeheartedly to the pulsing strains of the music.

Food and wine were in abundant flow. The cuisine ranged from Indian and Mughlai to Chinese and Continental, prepared by the inhouse chefs at the resort.

And the heat is on!
