Consumer Durables, Pharma, PSU, Capital Goods, FMCG, IT, Oil, FMCG and Metals have ended negative in varying degrees while Banks, Auto and PSU's have ended in positive territory. Volume registered a noticeable decrease (read as turnover) while the undertone seemed mixed.

Sensex (Daily)

Last Close - 10662.22 | Support - 10662, 10556 | Resistance - 10740, 10884

Trading Range - The Sensex opened at 10755.45, moved up to an intra-day high of 10800.11, declined to an intra-day low of 10644.72 and closed at 10662.22.

Review/Outlook - The Sensex has once again reflected a surprising amount of strength to stage a smart upmove and has also managed to close above the 10600 mark but on ridiculously lower volume to give a downward key reversal. The outlook remains hazy and despite the extreme volatility, a range bound movement cannot be ruled out while an intra-day downside could come in only below the 10644 level while intra-day support comes in at the 10540 level.
