Egyptian trade team meets Jaitley

A five member Egyptian trade delegation called on Commerce and Industry Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday.

The delegation, which included Egyption first under secretary and heads of Egyptian commerce representation and ministry of foreign trade, sought to futher enhance bilateral trade ties, official sources said in New Delhi.

Indo-Egyptian bilateral trade currently stands at $560 million and has the potential of $1 billion.

The delegation is on a two day visit for the meeting of Joint Working Group to thrash out issues regarding Indo-Egyptian Preferential Trade Agreement.
