November 20, 2003 16:03 IST

Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, will set up 250 day-care clinics all over the country within next three years, a company official said.

The clinics would be set up in different cities like Delhi, Faridabad, Kolkata, Noida and Ghaziabad, and they would be purely based on the franchise model, Ratan Jalan, chief executive officer, Apollo Health, told reporters in Kolkata on Thursday.

He said the company would provide all kinds of facilities like pathological services, specialist clinics and pharmacy under one roof.

The company had invested substantial money for systems, software and product development.

Apollo Health has plans to open eight such clinics in Kolkata.

For manning the clinics, the company had engaged Ma Foi Consultants for conducting psychometric tests in the screening process.
