L&L fee fixed

The Maharashtra government decided to do away with the stamp duty imposed on Leave and Licence (L&L) agreements and impose instead a registration fee.

Registration of L&L agreements continues to be mandatory along with a registration fee of Rs 1,000 for municipal corporation limits and Rs 500 for outside of it.

This fee will be irrespective of the size and cost of the property or the purpose of its use.
