Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee said on Friday her party would cooperate with West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi, who has convened crucial talks between the state government and the party panel to end the
Singur deadlock.

Stating that Durgapur Expressway was open, she instructed her supporters to keep the lane opposite to her dharna site
open as well when crowds assembled.

However, only one lane of the Expressway was opened for traffic.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Hooghly) Debasish Boral said police would ensure unhindered movement of traffic.
