Gates' help for children
In 1998, Bill and Melinda Gates Children's Vaccine Program was launched in the US. The goal of the $100 million program is to significantly reduce the time it currently takes for vaccines to reach children living in poor countries.
In India, Gates announced the Foundation was awarding two grants totaling $30 million to benefit children and students.
