The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 69 points at 16,969 on September 26, and soon crossed the 17,000-mark in opening trades. Renewed buying in technology stocks helped the index rally to a fresh all-time intra-day high of 17,074. The 30-share index took just 5 trading days to reach 17,000 from 16,000.

What do you think of this sharp rise? Was it too fast? Will the market crash as rapidly as it rose? Will the bull run sustain? What should you do now?

What do you think is the reason for this sharp rise? Has it got something to do with a strong rupee, good company results, growing economy or the US Fed cutting interest rates?
