After desimartini.com, Indyarocks.com and Reliance's [Get Quote] Bigadda.com, Sabeer Bhatia, the creator of Hotmail, has decided to foray into the Indian social networking sphere.

Bhatia is planning to launch his new social networking website, Apnacircle.com, soon.

Recently in the capital to promote his one-year-old travel portal arzoo.com, Bhatia said the portal would move beyond India and the US.

"We will expand the travel portal to the UK, West Asia and Australia to tap the markets there."

The portal has also started taking bookings for restaurants and hotels. "We have tied-up with 1,500 hotels across the country for offering reservations," he added.

Bhatia is also on the verge of launching his website that would facilitate free conference calls, the details of which are being kept under wraps.

While showing interest in setting up a nano-city in Chandigarh, he said the company, which had recently set up an office in Delhi, would soon add another in Amritsar.
