Spice to invest Rs 500 cr to expand 'Hot Spot' outlets

Spice Group's multi-brand technology retail chain 'Hot Spot Retails' said on Wednesday it will invest Rs 500 crore (Rs 5 billion) over the next two years in setting up 1,500 outlets.

"We are planning to take the number of our Hot Spots to 400 by the end of this year and 1,500 by 2008 end with an investment of Rs 500 crore," Hot Spot Retails Private Ltd Vice Chairman Dilip Modi told reporters in New Delhi.
