Wipro Chairman and CEO Azim H Premji received the highest annual remuneration in the company for the fiscal 2006-07. Premji who also holds 79.58 per cent stake in the company, got an annual remuneration of $721,522.

This included $100,004 towards salary and allowances, $556,845 on commission and incentives, $48,724 towards housing and $15,949 towards others income, the company said in its annual filings to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

However, Suresh C Senapaty, Wipro's [Get Quote] CFO and executive vice-president, finance drew the highest salary and allowances of $168,295 per annum. Besides, he also earned $55,899 towards commission and incentives, $25,058 towards housing and $2,891 towards other income.
