Etihad Airways will now fly daily between Delhi and Abu Dhabi and will launch a new service between Abu Dhabi and Kochi from Monday.

"The daily flights from Delhi...have happened close on the launch of its new thrice-weekly services to Thiruvanantha-puram from Abu Dhabi. This will be followed up by launch of service between Abu Dhabi and Kochi from June 3," a company release said.

"The demand for air travel to and from India continues to grow at a phenomenal rate and Etihad is delighted to boost its Delhi flights to daily in the same week that it launches the Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram flights," the release, quoting the company's Area Manager for Northern Indian and Nepal R Dougie Douglas, said.

In addition to the UK and North America, the Delhi route would also connect with Etihad's flights between Abu Dhabi, Paris, Brussels, Geneva, Frankfurt, Munich, Johannesburg, Cairo and Beirut, it said.

The economy class return fares from Delhi and Abu Dhabi start from Rs 13,500, Rs 22,000 for the Business class and Rs 33,000 for the diamond class, it added.
