Bilateral trade between India and Thailand was expected to touch $10 billion in the next three years from the current $3.4 billion, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trade of Thailand Somkiat Anuras said on Monday.

The volume of two-way trade would touch $4 billion in the current financial year, Anuras told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar on 'Emerging opportunities post FTA' organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Kolkata.

Bilateral trade, he said, would get a boost once the free trade agreement between India and Thailand was signed.

Thailand would have to do a lot of homework to take the volume of bilateral trade to a satisfactory point, Anuras said.
