Marking its foray into the legal process outsourcing sector, Hinduja TMT has tied up with UK-based business consulting firm Centric, to form a joint venture in association with leading law firm Fox Mandal Little.

The JV company, tipped to be named Centric LPO would provide legal outsourcing services to multinational corporations and international law firms.

The JV company would be a subsidiary of HTMT and would tap the highly promising legal process outsourcing  sector, while enhancing the company's onshore delivery capabilities around the world, Hinduja TMT informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"Our tie-up with Centric will further strengthen our capabilities in the knowledge process outsourcing area and help us to explore new opportunities in US and UK, the top primary markets for LPO," Hinduja TMT CEO Partha Sarkar said.

This partnership has the potential to grow to a sizeable $40 million business in the next three years with healthy profit margins, Partha Sarkar added.

The deal would also enable Centric LPO to expand upon its existing and high quality client base, while Fox Mandal Little would provide high quality legal services to the JV and also address any client requirement for high-end legal services.

According to the BPO Council of ASSOCHAM, more than 200 top US companies are looking for offshore locations towards achieving savings between 30-70 per cent, HTMT said.
