Ybrant Technologies, an e-marketing solutions company, after its recent acquisition of MediosOne, is now in talks with seven other US companies for acquisitions to expand its offerings in e-marketing space.

Suresh Reddy, co-founder and chairman of Ybrant Technologies, said, "There are at least five different e-marketing tools and my goal is to acquire at least one company in each segment." With the talks at various stages, Reddy feels 2007 may prove to be exciting for the company.

MediosOne, an Internet advertising network focused on global consumer base, gave Ybrant the required push into South America, Europe and it will also help enter the Indian e-marketing space.

"The Indian e-marketing scenario is also getting interesting with huge growth in online booking. MediosOne will be our vehicle to enter India," said Reddy.

Ybrant's development centre at Hyderabad has 200 people working on various development tools and has about 15 different platforms catering to Internet and other marketing requirements. With almost 200 clients (primarily in the US) in its kitty, Ybrant has lined up exciting growth plans.

Reddy says each company has a marketing budget with just 6-8 per cent being spent on e-marketing. e-marketing tools have been gaining acceptance and preference over the more traditional methods of marketing due to feature such as tracking a particular advertisement and pay per click, etc.
