Sun TV becomes pay channel from Dec 2

South India-based television broadcaster Sun TV Ltd on Wednesday said its flagship channel Sun TV will become a pay channel from December 2.

Cable operators would now have to pay Rs 12 per month per subscriber to access the channel, the company said in a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of the Chennai-based company were trading at Rs 1,235 on the BSE, up 2.05 per cent.
