In order to take on the competition in the home music system category, Bose Corporation India on Wednesday launched a Bose Wave music system priced at Rs 29,900, the lowest in company's portfolio in India.

"We expect good numbers of Bose wave music system to sell. It's a complete home system, which can play CD, MP3 along with FM radio," Ratish Pandey, General Manager, Bose India said.

The company is also looking at introducing more models within a price range of Rs 30,000-Rs 60,000 in next six months.

Commenting on the reduction of price in Bose music systems, Pandey said, "We are not reducing the price of our systems, we are providing a world-class system at a great price."

In India, Bose owns 9 exclusive stores and is looking to add two more in next six months.

A privately held company, Bose cooperation globally has eight manufacturing facilities and an annual sales turnover of $1.7 billion.
