Tata AIG India Life Insurance Company has tied up with Fanklin Templeton Investments Ltd to introduce a new plan InvestAssure, a unit linked insurance plan to provide security cover with the opportunity to get high returns on insurance premium.

Tata-AIG has signed a pact with the mutual fund company for InvestAssure to provide benefit of growth in capital markets without compromising on the security for those insured by policy, the insurance company managing director Ian J Watts told reporters in Mumbai on Monday.

Tata AIG policy holder would have the option of choosing from variety of mutual funds schemes managed by Franklin Templeton, he said.
