Following are the highlights of the Mini Exim Policy:

  • QRs removed on gold, silver, power and air guns.
  • Export of fertilisers liberalised.
  • Duty free import for heritage and small hotels.
  • DFES allowed on imports of all capital goods.
  • Ceiling of export of gifts raised to Rs 500,000.
  • Import of prototypes to be allowed for R&D.
  • E-commerce initiatives introduced.
  • Duty free fuel allowed.
  • Gold Card scheme for credit-worthy exporters.
  • Drawback band rates for deemed exports decentralised.
  • Deemed export benefits for zero duty items.
  • Equity base of ECGC hiked to Rs 800 crore.
