Virtually mirroring the tariff structure of Bharti, MobileFirst an alliance of BPL Mobile, Escotel, RPG Cellular and Spice Telecom announced on Saturday new cellular tariff for Plan-399 involving a rate of rupee one for local cell-to-cell outgoing call.

With monthly rental of Rs 399, the alliance is offering Rs 100 worth of outgoing airtime.

The outgoing airtime charges have been pegged at rupee one a minute for cell-to-cell calls and Rs 2 to other phones like fixed line and WLL networks.

On the long distance front (STD), the company would charge Rs 2 per minute for cell-to-cell STD calls, Rs 3 for calls to other phones for distance up to 500 kms and Rs 4 a minute for distance more than 500 kms, a company release said.
