HDFC to divest up to 10% stake in HDFC AMC

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd on Saturday decided to divest up to 10 per cent of its stake in HDFC Asset Management Company. The board also decided to infuse a maximum Rs 65 crore (Rs 650 million) fresh capital in the AMC to facilitate an acquisition, HDFC informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The board also gave a nod to infuse additional capital, through equity or preference shares, it said.
