Prudential ICICI MIP declares dividends

Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund has declared dividends in the monthly and quarterly options of Pru ICICI Monthly Income Plan. The record date is 30 May 2003.

In the monthly dividend option, a dividend of Rs 0.0532 has been declared. In the quarterly dividend option, a dividend of Rs 0.1728 has been declared.

Pru ICICI MIP was launched in September 2000. It is an open-ended scheme seeking to generate regular income through investments in fixed income securities. The minimum investment amount is Rs 25,000 and the incremental investment is Rs 1,000. The fund is suitable for investors looking for short-term investment at relatively low risk.

Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company is the investment manager o the largest private sector mutual fund in the country, the Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund. It enjoys the strong parentage of the ICICI group, a well-known and trusted name in financial services in India and the Prudential group, one of the United Kingdom's largest players in the insurance and finds management business. It has over Rs 10,634.15 crore of assets under management as on 30 April 2003 and has 26 branch centers all over the country to service its nearly five lakh investors. Its diverse product portfolio comprises of debt, equity and balanced funds.
