Satyam sees long-term growth

Satyam Computer said on Thursday it expects earnings per share of Rs 14.57 to Rs 14.66 for the full year ending March 31, 2003.

For fiscal 2003, income from software services is expected to be between Rs 2010 crore (Rs 2.10 billion) and Rs 2020 crore (Rs 20.2 billion).

For the quarter ending March 31, 2003, income from software services is expected to be between Rs 525 crore (Rs 5.25 billion) and Rs 535 crore (Rs 5.35 billion). EPS for the quarter is expected to be between Rs 3.66 and Rs 3.75.

It said lower than anticipated ramp up of revenue from few customers added in the current and previous years hit Q3 results.

The company said the thrust on offshoring continued to be high, presenting opportunities for long term sustainable growth.
