THE 5 LEADERSHIP QUALITIES: Rahul Bajaj, in his address as the Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT-Bombay, stressed on the need for industry participation in academia.
"Knowledge and business are intimately linked. I hope IIT-Bombay will be a pathbreaker in this field," he said.
"There are five qualities that distinguish a leader from the rest: Passion, focus, excellence, commitment and determination. Leadership means there is no substitute for excellence, no tolerance of mediocrity and no compromise with integrity," he said.
