Forex reserves zoom up to $76 billion

The foreign exchange reserves moved up $326 million to $76.077 billion for the week ended April 18, 2003 when compared with $75.751 billion in the previous week, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Saturday.

Foreign currency assets increased $326 million to $72.539 billion from $72.213 billion. Gold and SDRs were unchanged at $3.534 billion and $4 million, respectively.
