'I will be making a statement in Parliament regarding dismantling of APM'

The implementation of the annoucements made by Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha on the reduction of petrol and diesel prices will begin from tomorrow.

Whether private petroleum companies will be allowed to charge on their discretion or whether there will be some ceiling by the government, will be decided by the Petroleum Regulatory Authority which will monitor issues like this.

I will be making a statement in Parliament regarding the dismantling of the administrative prices of petroleum products.

Ram Naik is Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas.
