'Budget has nothing to stimulate growth'

Sunil Alagh

There is nothing exciting in the Union Budget. There is nothing to stimulate growth. The Budget is neither good nor bad.

I have been asked by people whether the growth rate of over 5 per cent is achievable. I do not think that the growth rate projected by the finance minister is achievable, because it was not realistic.

Sunil Alagh is managing director, Britannia Industries Ltd.
