TCS denies suicide by employee

Information technology giant Tata Consultancy Services on Tuesday denied that any of its employees had committed suicide.

Delhi police told IANS on Monday that US-returned Dinesh Mathur, who was described as a TCS employee, killed himself here Saturday allegedly because he was unhappy with his job.

Company spokeswoman Pooja Saran said the report was 'misleading and incorrect' and that no TCS employee had committed suicide.

A police official Tuesday also corroborated the TCS version and said that the victim was Rajnish Madan and not Dinesh Mathur as identified earlier.
