Maruti divestment not to be discussed at Tuesday's meet

Heavy Industries Minister Manohar Joshi on Monday said that the divestment of public sector Maruti Udyog Limited would not be taken up at Tuesday's meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Divestment.

''The MUL divestment will not be taken up at Tuesday's meeting, but may come up at the next meeting which is yet to be decided,'' he told journalists here.

''The government is no longer interested in investing in PSUs,'' he added.
