CM+CE=CN was a well-written article about India's most promising politician. I hope Chandrababu Naidu will offer opportunities to enterprising Indians who have been long suppressed by corrupt politicians of post-Independence India.

For NRI technocrats like me in the US, Naidu offers courage and hope that the quality of life and career opportunities will be better when we return to our motherland.

Articles about Naidu portray him as one who strives to raise revenues for his state and fosters socio-economic development. While this may be bring glad tidings to technocrats like me, what about the millions of people in rural India who depend on agriculture / irrigation for their livelihood? Is Naidu doing anything for them?

I feel it is crucial for Naidu that he does improves their lot if he is keen on retaining his chief ministership after the election.

One more thing. I wonder whether it is true that Naidu wants to rename Hyderabad as Cyberabad. I don't think the Opposition is so dumb as to let him do that.

Dilip Thakore's column offers useful perspectives. I agree with Thakore that Naidu is a very good administrator with a vision.We need at least one politician like Naidu for each state of India. Indian politicians should emulate Naidu.
