Day Four of the LFW was opened by designer Purvi Doshi with her 'Kachindo' collection. 'Kachindo' means chameleon in Gujarati and it's a fitting name for these creations, which metamorphose into a variety of different silhouettes -- each is reversible, with four layers of fabric that can be worn upside down, inside out and even side by side.
Thew patterns ranged from ethnic to floral to checkered -- take a look. Alicia Raut started the show in this triangle-patterned draw-string outfit.
Next we have a one-shouldered, predominantly red dress with knotted detail and floral motif.
Soft and silky, a pinafore drapes casually over a deep purple tank top.
The designer mixes ethnic patterns with geometry and the end result is this very appealing, summery halterneck.
This outfit moves from a billowing blouse to a fitted skirt and from stripes to florals to solids -- how's that for chameleon characteristics?
We see Alicia once again in a striking blue and white triangle-panelled sari, presumably the showstopper.
