HP has introduced India to its latest gaming laptop, the Omen Max 16. Designed to handle demanding AAA games effortlessly, the machine comes equipped with Intel’s latest processors and powerful Nvidia graphics.

The Omen Max features a 16-inch display, offering a resolution of 2560×1600. It boasts an IPS screen with a smooth 240 Hz refresh speed, with up to 500 nits in brightness, and delivers complete sRGB spectrum support.

Equipped with a Full HD 1080p infrared webcam, the system also includes dual digital mics and employs temporal noise suppression for improved video clarity.

Keyword

The device features individually programmable RGB keys and an optional illuminated light strip, both of which can be fully tailored using the Omen Light Studio software.

Powered by Intel’s Ultra 9-275HX chip featuring 24 processing cores, paired with Nvidia’s high-end RTX 5080 graphics card, it includes 32 GB of high-speed DDR5 memory clocked at 5600MT/s, along with a 1 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD for rapid storage access. The CPU & GPU together may consume > 250 watts of power -- 75W for the processor & 175W for the graphics unit -- cooled by a dual-fan thermal setup.
