  • 2 cups grated paneer
  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp condensed milk

Method

  • In a microwave-safe glass bowl, add the grated paneer and condensed milk.
    Mix well so that paneer absorbs the milk evenly.

  • Microwave in the oven for 5 minutes.
    Stir twice in between to avoid lumps and ensure even cooking.

  • Allow it to cool slightly (warm to touch but not completely cold).
    This helps in shaping easily without it sticking too much.

  • While the mixture is still warm, shape into modaks.
  • You can use: Hand mould (greased with a little ghee) for a traditional touch.
    Or use a modak mould for neat, festive shapes.

  • Allow them to come to room temperature.
  • Or refrigerate.

Tips
Use fresh paneer -- homemade is best or good quality packaged paneer.
Don't overcook, or the mixture may turn chewy.
